Hello, I am just starting out and looking at buffers, scrubbers, etc. Is one manufacturer better than the other? So far I have looked at Clarke, Viper, Minuteman. I also came across a site called CleanFreak that has scrubbers, etc. listed but it looks like its their own brand, but the prices are decent. Just looking for some direction so I dont buy something I'm going to end up regretting. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Okay so a few weeks ago I was asking questions....shocking I know and I got a lot of help. For any new folks you need to ask questions BUT you also need to read the forums. You WILL find the answers.

I placed a bid on a 20,000 sq ft floor job to be done nightly and we agreed on 3200.00 per month. After that discussion we also got the general maintenance stuff, i.e cleaning the lights, replacing floor tiles, washrooms, change rooms etc. All of which will be done seperately and on a month to month basis and seperate payment.

After 19 months of little jobs we landed the BIG ONE. The little jobs however are incredibly important because they teach you and guide you to be prepared and professional for the BIG jobs.

We will be going after another grocery store in about 5 weeks....I want it tomorrow lol, but I need to make sure when people see this floor they say "WOW" then I will go after a bigger fish. With my crew however it won't be hard. I have said it before and I will say it again: I have the best crew on the planet.

I also gave everyone a nice raise since we just landed this job. Ya gotta pay your people for a job well done and they always over-deliver for me and the client.

"If you pay a monkeys wage...expect a monkeys results"

Okay...I have rambled enough...just wanted to share a good news story!!

Hey ever body, this is my first post.

So as I was moving in to my new place my shampoo exploded on the carpet.

I spent about a half hour trying to pull it up with a washcloth and water to no avail.

Eventually I just gave up, "hey, it's shampoo, it's not gonna stain after all."

Today I stepped out of bed on to where the spill was and my feet were greeted by a starchy hard wadded mess of crusty dry shampoo.

Whoops!

Well it turns out that shampoo stains are actually "among the hardest stains to remove" according to Wikihow.

Double Whoops!

If any one can tell me the best way to resolve this issue I will be very grateful.

We currently use JPP and are trying to decide between DASH and Assured Complete.

We've demo'd both products and they look very similar in feature sets to us but DASH is significantly more money in both up front cost and monthly. Has anyone actually tried both in real world use and what was their experience?

What does DASH have that Assured Complete does not? I've heard that Assured Complete's integration with Xactimate breaks frequently, anyone have experience with that?
