Remove dirt that does get inside
Use rugs
Remove shoes.
Use a shop-vac

Carpet Cleaning must be done on the regular basis like vacuuming once or twice a week prevents the carpet from embedding the dust particles.This also enhance the life of carpet.

Well, you can't hire professional carpet cleaners twice a week. You should do that twice a year.

carpets are good to go for years especially when given regular care and maintenance...spills and stuff are usually problems with carpets...regular maintenance is really a must and must be observe by every carpet owner
