When it comes to oriental carpet cleaning, we should have two major concerns: 1- Our health and 2- The life of our rug which can be extended by rug cleaning. We breathe what we walk on; dirt, dust, sand, and etc are stored in the pile of the carpet/rug and when we walk on them they are released and thrown in the air and we breathe them in our lungs. Therefore, cleaner rugs help us have more sanitary room and healthier environment."
That is true, people have to keep their rugs and carpets cleaned. It is important when you have a child and you know they are scrambling all day with they toys and legos over the dirty carpets...do for them...cleaning carpets is not big deal...just an hour weekly...and your home will be better
exactly, get carpet clean at least onee in a week , bcoz it is must to remove accumulated dust...self handling may cause harm to carpet ..better to call a professional for that
The EPA actually recommends that carpets be cleaned once every 3 months for families with kids and pets. For the opposite end of the spectrum, they recommend a single individual with no animals and who does not smoke get their carpet professionally cleaned at least once a year.

I can't agree with EPA's recommendation. I think cleaning once a week is not enough.
