Steam Cleaning Method
This is considered the finest carpet cleaning method by NY Carpet Cleaning . It can be done through either a portable unit or a truck mounted unit. Although, the truck mounted unit is considered the excellent choice. Cleaning strongly soiled carpets is a part of cake with this technique.

Steam cleaning methods are those used by professional cleaners. Steam cleaning machines use hot water and detergents to clean carpets. Methods and products vary according to the carpet fibres.
Consult a professional before doing any steam carpet cleaning by yourself, to avoid damage.

More than one way to skin a cat.
The same applies for carpet cleaning. Some swear by steam extraction others swear by the bonnet method.
At the end if your customers are happy and you're getting paid - stick to it.
Why fix something that's not broken?

It would depend on multiple factors like the carpet fabric, age of the carpet, how tough the stain is, the type of stain etc.

Stream carpet cleaning method is also known as hot water extraction. In this method we used hot water with high pressure and this is the result of a flushing action. A warm solution is forced through the carpet's fibers, removing soil and other contaminants which then are extracted by a powerful engine driven vacuum.

Steam cleaning is one of the best carpet cleaning methods. The thing is, though, that lots of people, nowadays, choose to do it on their own, instead of hiring a professional. This very often has a bad result, as people are not aware of how much water and detergent to use, and whether the steam cleaning method is appropriate for their flooring. Moreover, they sometimes start using the carpet right after they've finished cleaning, and it starts smelling awfully.

Steam cleaning is still best performed by professionals. That's why I won't risk doing ti on my own.

I agree with you Marie. It is not easy to use steam cleaning by yourself only. It needs expert or someones advice. Because not all kinds of carpet can be steamed.

Hi all,
According to me steam cleaning is a term often mistakenly used when referring to carpet cleaning. Generally commercial carpet cleaning machines use wet extraction often using heated water, not steam. Steam vapor machines advertised these days on late night TV use water heated to a vaporwhich uses far less water than conventional carpet cleaning machines. The steam vapor machines use very little water measured in quarts per hour compared to carpet cleaning machine measured in gallons per minute. There are lots of benefits of steam cleaning.
