Carpets that are cleaned less often require more and stronger chemicals that do carpets that are regularly maintained.

Obviously if you only have a little tiny damp patch then it will dry on its own. BUt if you have suffered something more serious like a burst pipe you will really want to ensure that everything is done as efficiently as possible.

As others have already stated it really depends on technique used (btw I wouldn't go with a pressure washer as suggested above), your carpets, and the equipment used. Normally it doesn't really matter too much whether you need 45 minutes or 4 hours, as long as it's cleaned properly. You shouldn't get any water damage from it - it just doesn't get wet enough for that.

wet carpet is the perfect setting for mould and mildew growth. be quick and take it outside on direct sunlight.

$228.57 per hour.

I'd say this is a bit high but if the client is happy a week down the road and you get referrals form them you may be all right.
I'd look at something like the Water Claw if you might be doing this a lot.

Carpet is actually designed to hide dirt, & in case you neat it only after you let it get dirty, the damage is already done.Carpet is a nice breeding site for mold & other fungal elements. The heat of the material is conducive for their growth. If you or a member of the relatives has asthma, emphysema or any breathing issues, this might be a major predicament, so be definite to hire the right person for the job.

The brush bar beats the carpet to lift stubborn stains and it gives a good even clean to fitted carpets. If the carpet is only slightly wet, you can let it dry normally for a few hours.

It is possible as a homeowner to dry a small area of the carpet your self if your are somewhat handy. This wet carpet cleaner is ideal for the home with pets as it washes and deodorises after any 'accidents' on both carpeted and hard floors.

When you are cleaning up the carpets, you should definitely take care of the carpeting materials. Pet owners often face problems with the urine and feces of the pets. You should be very careful about your amateur cleaning operations at home. Without proper expertise, you might ruin the carpets. Before you start cleaning jobs, contact with the experts working in the field of carpet cleaning NYC and learn about the insights. Once you have understood how to handle these situations, you can keep your carpeting materials maintained for long time and enhance the longevity of these products.

We as Upholstery Cleaning NYC found that results vary. Most importantly, it depends on skill, experience and the way cleaning is done.

We use Truck mount equipement and we deep clean the carpet with high water flow and we get about two hours drying time. If You want your carpet cleaned right it will need to be cleaned with hot water so it is gonna be a little damp after it is cleaned.

The water claw works WONDERS for extracting water all the way down to the carpet pad. Mold removal from carpet can be very difficult and I would suggest ensuring all carpet is mostly dry prior to leaving a home.

When asked about drying times in advance, I always refer to 'sock dry'. Remember that most of the carpets I clean are wool or wool-rich and these can take several days after they appear to be dry to attain a moisture content no higher than it would have been without the clean having been performed.
Good strategy. Socks and carpets compared.Dry and soft socks are most comfortable.
