Snake,

Print advertising can make you or break you. If you have any misspelled words, difficult-to-read fonts, cluttered text, improper punctuation, etc. then it will not garner any attention. In fact, it could even hurt you! If I see an ad with misspelled words, I toss it out. I figure if they make careless mistakes on their ads, what other mistakes can I expect down the road with my service?

Make sure you have someone look over your ads before sending them out in large amounts. Same goes for your website.

Keep it clean, simple, and easy to read. Make sure your contact information is included. Make sure you are giving value-added points on why the reader should hire you. For instance, it's one thing to claim you are "The best in town!" and another to say "We give honest and dependable service" The first example only makes grand claims. The second example states WHY you are better than others. And never, ever, ever criticize your competition. Just outline why you are the best choice of the many in your area.

I hope this helps! If you want me to look over your ad, I am happy to help.

Please clarify your question?

My response above is pretty clear on what you should or shouldn't do on print ads.
