Here is how to get some valuable bids!!
This helped me start my business explosively, I hope it helps you!!
Start looking for bids with your local governments (city, county, state, country) and start calling the 'purchasing' department of each agency. Inquire on any new, upcoming janitorial service bids coming out 'to bid' If they say no--FIND OUT WHEN THEY WILL, and record that. Then call back around that date, and bid decidedly. Also, look into your local newspaper website WEEKLY and search in the legals for janitorial services coming out to bid. It is a religious undertaking, but highly profitable. You will need employees, insurances, equipment, supplies, income to pay the employees, references, bid bonds, and certifications. Call your local SBA office, they will help you out. GOOD LUCK!!

where i live in massachusetts you have to pay prevailing wage which is determined by the state. it is about $30 per hour you will have to pay to each employee on a fed, state, or town job.

That is great. I have some information for the newly formed cleaning service companies. There are several janitorial supplies companies which sell cleaning supplies online!! so you dont even have to go there in person and ofcourse you will have to verify the authenticity of such companies.
