Default Starting a cleaning buisness in NC
Hi all, I am new to this forum. I am looking into starting a cleaning buisness here in NC for my wife, and if it does well, her sisters can help.

Do you all have any tips or comments on things that have to been done before starting? I know about taxes etc..., just need insight on things other than the IRS. Thanks a bunch to all who help!

Thank you for the reply. This information is very helpful. Since the posting of this thread, we have put a bid in on an apartment complex for move ins. I hope eveything pans out. My wife will be the one axctually doing the cleaning portion of the buisness, I am to busy with the lawn care portion.

If you want to start your own cleaning business or any other business, you have to remember these things:

Have passion for your business
Set an example of trustworthiness
Don't let fear of failure hold you back
Make timely decisions
Be flexible, except with core values
Believe
Admit your mistakes.
Maintain a strong work ethic

Yes true, with your business promote your website also, that can bring some potential customers, who are searching these services in your area on net.
Plus prices also matters, as you are new you have to provide these services at low cost but just to attract customer offer some discount and other offers and once you get a customer provide excellent services that will give a permanent client.
