Winter seems to be hard here in Maine as well although Residential can be busy and has been for us we are getting atleast one time cleaning about twice a week and they come from our door tags basically once you finish your cleaning do what they call a 5 up and 5 down method with your door tags and or flyers basically drop them off to 5 houses on the left and 5 houses on the right Hope this helps

What kind of industry are you in? A good suggestion I think would be if it is possible, to find a different angle of your business that you could offer for the winter months. You know, something that is still relevant to people in the colder part of the year. And then in the spring switch your marketing back to your primary services.

We also see a slight decline in business in the winter months but luckily here in Jupiter, FL the weather stays pretty great. Since we do water restoration pipe burstings and leaks often keep up going too.

I love wintertime and live somewhere where it's pretty cold and snowy and yet still I find I have to do the "put one foot in front of the other" routine in order to keep going some days. What everyone has said already - hobbies [esp warm ones], watching TV and dressing warmly are all great. Here are a few things that I do.

You can always get a plow for the front of your truck and start plowing snow! Just a thought....
