Default Craigslist

I've read in a few threads that there has been some success posting on CL. I haven't got a single call. Take a look at my ad and let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks

Nothing really wrong with the ad. I would repost it every couple of days to keep it in the readers eyes. Sometimes it just takes some time.

I suppose i would change the subject line from (Time for Spring Cleaning! 4 spots left, book yours NOW!) to
(Give yourself a break, We offer Spring Cleaning pkg's) In your head line I was turned off by all the !!!!.. keep it
simple and offer the benefit to the customer.

I have a professional Roof Cleaning Tampa web page that also posts as a beautiful flyer on Craigslist. I have never received ONE call from any posting on Craigslist.

I got few call from craiglist. It's not place you will get a lot of customers, but it's free advertising.

CL is very effective site for advertising well, if your first time don't lose hope just try and try or post your ads every other day repeatedly and you'll see its effective.

CL is the best for they gave me lot of customers.

Try posting 1-2 adverts in craigslist every day. More adverts mean bigger chance customers to see your advert and call

I might have to look into putting up some ad's on Craigs list for carpet cleaning, janitorial, and floor stripping.

I know that the limit of posting in Craigslist is 3 post per day so why not using all of them.

I've never had much luck with craigslist. The only calls I get from there are customers chasing a low price.

If you are based in the UK, you can try the following free classified ads sites:

1. www.classifieds.co.uk
2. www.vivastreet.co.uk
3. www.itsmymarket.com
4. www.adoos.co.uk

Thanks

Here in Tampa, Craigslist ads get flagged almost as soon as they are posted by competitors in the Roof Cleaning Business. The few companies advertising on Craigslist have some way of simply churning out 25 ads a day, under different titles! They must be using some service or software that does this for them ? Almost as soon as we post an ad on Craigslist, it gets flagged for nothing by our competitors. And the ones that do get through the flagging don't do anything. I always ask "how did you hear of us" to every customer. I have never had anyone tell me "I found you on Craigslist"

Default Craiglist Works It depends on...

Craigslist works! You just can't use it by itself. It depends on your town. If Craigslist is getting alot of buzz, people will search there. I've used it. Cleaning services in Atlanta Ga. is very competitive so I have to use various other marketing techniques. But try it you may have another source of income for free.

Our experience with CL has been quite poor. A lot of spam (affiliate marketers) and no legitimate inquires. Since its free, I guess we can't complain too much, just not going to put much effort in that area any longer. Good luck to those of you who see opportunity in it.

I've used Craigslist a lot and still do on occasion. It has always worked for me. Each post resulted in at least 4-5 phone calls. I am in the area where Craigslist is very popular but I do think that image ads work the best. I create all of my own custom image ads. They really pop and set you aside form the competition.

Here are some of my samples:

Default Craigslist.

I advertised my Roof Cleaning Company in Maryland for a year on Craigslist and never received one call. However, it may have been that I just wasn't putting enough into it like the poster above me.

I've gotten calls from free listings on:

merchantcircle.com
myhuckleberry.com
and hotfrog.com

Good Luck!
