I'm slightly unsure  of what you encountered with "jaggedy" text in the header as I have since tested the landing page on 3 different computers and in several different browsers and nothing bad experienced. Which browser did you use? Mozilla, IE...? Do you use a MAC or XP operating system?
Also tested the "bad" links to applicable pages and found they all went to where they were supposed to.
Thanks for the heads up on the "where the client finds us" error  . I will get this sorted pronto. I am however a stats junkie and have analytics running on my site which also gives me great and informative info. This is always backed up by an email and verbal communication that helps me confirm where my visitors come from. This is all documented in a spreadsheet and analyzed weekly.
The video playing automatically is always going to be a bone of contention. Some will like it and some won't. I have surveyed my customers database and 88% said that the video playing did not bother them. The video is there to serve 3 purposes:
1. An introduction to me and the business.
2. What's in it for the customer when they book a cleaning service with us.
3. A clear call to action.
Since I introduced video to my site, two things have happened. Firstly my conversion rate has increased by 35% when previously it was only 18%. Secondly, video has helped to build high credibility between myself and a cold prospect eg when they book a quote and I arrive at the property they immediatley say "hey you're the person in the video" which gives me the edge in not having to "cold call" because the client already "knows" me.

not so keen. if it wasn't flash it'd be better for pretty much everything. the noise is potinless, how many good sites have noise that aren't for kids? you can't link to any page, e.g. how cnai show someone your prices page? also don't like the half sentence slogans on home area, nor do i like the spining thing on the left, not sure what it even is tbh
