Celeste,

An impressive portfolio of before and after shots _ was especially impressed with the wet deck photo .... I see from the 'after' photo that you even glued leaves onto the trees

All joking aside, good work.

Our web site at www.seattlehousecleaning.com is leased from the House Cleaning Alliance in Denver Colorado. My domain names are purchased from www.godaddy.com who have never given me any trouble.
The House Cleaning Alliance web site gives us one good client per week. We have doubled our business this year using this site.
My original site at www.aspringcleaning.com is also host by Ripple Applications which is a House Cleaning Alliance company.

Welcome to the board Seattle house cleaning. If you don't mind my asking what is HCA/Ripple charging to lease a site now a days?

The rates are at this link http://www.house-cleaning-alliance.c...-websites.aspx
I leased mine then bought a custom site that is not working right now. The leased site seems to come with the directory and reciprocal links that give it exposure. My domain name helps in searches.

If you dig deep enough you will see that I was at one time affiliated with the HCA, (they to this day have a couple of my articles on their site). As much as I liked the people who run it at one time I have to stand here today and say that I believe that you can do better on pricing for services. You see, I had my site built and optimized for my area for less than $250. With the services of edit.com I am able to make as many edits/ additions as I want each year for another $75. If you google any number of terms relating to house cleaning or property management cleaning I rank within the top 3 listings for each catagory (not including the paid ads) in my area of California and I live is the computer capitol of the world.

Let me show you an example of why I say this - for the hosting - they are charging $99 for setup fee per account and then monthly ongoing charges for each, I pay $72 flat for the whole year and have 4 sites hosted on the same account!

Scheduling software can be purchased outright as well and will cost you less. Online estimates are not hard to add to any site, the other bells and whistles such as daily cartoons, rss feeds, email accounts, etc can all be set up for free by bravenet and other sites that offer freebies to webmasters.

The point of my diatribe today is that a good/ functional "unique" webpage does not have to cost you an arm and a leg, and cookie cutter web sites "if used" should cost even less due to the duplicity of their being

Seattle house cleaning, I hope you do not take offense as non is intended.

How did you like the website
I like short and simple Hope it is ok
mysister maids is slow but I only do it part time
I have a full time job as Medical Assistant for a family practice clinic
I want to oventually do only cleaning jobs so that my husband
can come home and work here in San Antonio TX with me or start him a company, but realy just starting out
My sister maids company started by accident, I have a teen half sister and she was starting to get in trouble at school and with the law so since she was to young to get a job and learn something besides being bad and in trouble I decided to start the maid service to make her work and teach her a lesson. All worked out well and now we decided to get into the post const. cleaning due to the messy houses (some)

thanks for the reply
take care and see you around
