Default Help With Pricing

I have been reading the posts and would like to get feedback on pricing roof cleaning. I have added roof cleaning to other services I offer.

I priced a 15 unit complex that had the typical steep roofs here in the mid west. The units were roughly 3500 sq ft. I priced them between .20 and .35 per sq ft. At .20 sq ft alone that put the total at $11,182 including tax. Am I way out of the ballpark??

I don't won't to be cheap but at the same time I don't want to be so far out of reach either. So far I have done just residential and this was my first large scale bid.

All advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug

I would say you were a bit high but pricing is what ever the market will bare , I would go around .15 here MAX

Keep in mind Russ is a notorious lowballer.

(that's payback for any future Matt photoshops)

Thanks for the feedback Russ. I was hoping to get more of a response from others as well. I was basing my price off what a company said they get in their state. They charge more for steep roofs. Do you charge a higher amount for steep roofs?
Thanks,
Doug

YES, always charge more for steep roofs, they use more chemical, and danger is higher of falling.
