Default New Ride

We just added this big lady to the company. Might keep her, might not. It was a steal, so we'll see how it all shakes out. Probably keep her though.

LOL, I read "more space" and all I can think about is Don saying to himself - "more opportunity to buy more goodies to fill that space" Am I right Don?

LOL!.....A bad and vicious cycle. Make more, spend more. It all perpetuates itself!

That was great bumping into you and your wife at Bass Pro Shop, Dan!

It's never gonna get big enough for me to stop speaking to anybody. I'm just glad it's still growing.

Nice truck! How do you sneak toys like that in and get them passed the wife? I'm still having to hear about "my toy", my bucket truck. She seems to think that is the only toy I need. And it took months to convince her of that.

It's a delicate balance of "A toy for me = A toy for her."

Thumbs up

.....lookin' at a 60" for the living room and a 42" for the bedroom. The 50" from last Christmas is still thumpin' strong upstairs, in the den.

I love electronic toys, just wish I knew more about them.

Thumbs up She's a Beauty!

How'd you find her? I'm addicted to www.truckpaper.com myself.

I just can't seem to stop with the truck shopping. Luckily, my wife has NO PROBLEM stopping the truck shopping.

That looks like a nice addition, and if it is the DT-466 and 6-Plus tranny, you should get as much service from her as you want. I've seen numerous copies of that rig go over a million miles with little more than regular maintenance.

Is there a CDL in your future?

Yes you will!
You might also find out that chlorine fumes may be a problem ?
On our box truck, we had to permanately remove the rear door.
Chlorine fumes are corrosive!

Hey Scott,

It's a T444e and a class 6 truck. In order to be D.O.T. compliant it'll need placards for the amount of chlorine on board.

We try to rotate all equipment every 24 months or less, so this one should last just fine. Hanging on to anything that's been exposed to chlorine on a constant basis usually drags the re-sale value down to nothing, so we turn 'em over and keep on strokin'.

Tell the lovely wife that we said 'Hello!'

We have an enclosed trailer that's used for commercial roof cleaning, but as previously stated, we don't keep our equipment long enough for it to degrade to the point of being an issue.

Otherwise, duly noted.
