Yes, most boards slow way down in the summer months, at least here in Tampa, Florida area.
The summer in Tampa is slow for many.
A lot of 'non pressure roof cleaning' wanna bees go out of business in the summer months.
Just as well IMHO because many of them really are not qualified to be doing roofs anyway.
Many are pressure washers who weren't making it, and decided to get into non pressure roof cleaning.
Many work alone, or with inexperienced grounds people, and give non pressure roof cleaning a bad name here in the Tampa area.
Non pressure roof cleaning is a specialty service, and requires experienced personnel who do roofs on a daily basis.
There is no room for inexperience in our field, unless you want to compromise customers landscaping.

We have been just slammed with roof cleaning tampa fl work. Tampa got a lot of rain this past winter, and roofs here are very dirty, and in need of cleaning. We are currently running both of our 2 roof cleaning trucks

I'm noticing some nice dirty roofs up here. I think it is time I sent out some postcards to target them!

I put up a new webpage: www.theresmoldonmyroof.com it links back in to my main website but I'm hoping it gets some hits on its own.

Roof cleaning is pretty new up here, I hope we get them all clean before anyone else starts doing it!!

These time released roof cleaners depend on the rain to remove the algae.
If a customer is under trees, the force of the rain is lessened. Plus, many times one application does not kill all the algae. To make matters worse, there are types of algae that have developed resistance to roof cleaning chemicals designed to kill them.

Yes, people are out cleaning roofs in the summer months, especially up north. It is quite normal for any board to see a slow down of activity at this time. The summer months here in Tampa are our slow time of year, but we have been very fortunate to be very busy lately.

Lady called about a white tile last week Chris, called me Chris on the phone.
She thought I did her roof cleaning last time, but I forwarded it back to you.
Think she was in Temple Terrace...

Thank You Thomas! She was a repeat customer, we cleaned her when she had a shingle roof. She had shingles replaced with Tile 2 years ago, white flat tile, and dirty already.
