Why Tuesday and not today? Have a large concrete job tomorrow or I'd fix it then. Anyway....chlorine definitely weakens too much after three weeks! It was about 1/3 10.5% and 2/3 water to start with. What a waste!

Why not just take a day off if you want to. Don't you work for yourself?

Chlorine weakens LESS if you have a yellow, or better yet, a black tank!
The clear tanks let in too much ultra violet rays!
That said, all our 500 and 600 gallon tanks are clear!
Why ?
Because we do so many roofs the Chlorine never gets a chance to weaken considerably.
But, this is the result of being in business 14 years, and did NOT happen overnight.
If I were just starting out today, no way I would buy anything but a Yellow, or a Black Tank!
Hey guys, why not place a tarp over your tanks, or spray it with Sun Block, LOL ??

I know that you were being sarcastic, Russ.
You'll have to realize that not all of us are comfortable with a pink tank with purple flames on it like yours.

I need your help guys.
I own a small Handyman business and I help indigent families once a month as a way to give back to the community. I have an elderly couple in a small home that would like their roof cleaned and it's covered in the black airborne fungus Florida is known for. The clay tiles on their roof are still in great shape, they just need a good cleaning. As professionals, I am hoping that you could recommend the correct chemicals for me to use and how to properly use them.
Don't worry, I'm not, or willing to become, any sort of competition for you guys. I'm a Handyman and I rarely run across these types of projects but am very familiar with the process. I have just never power washed a tile roof before. If I do run into more power washing projects outside of our indigent family program, I will recommend the person kind enough to respond with a simple solution. Thank you and God bless.

The most effective way to clean the roof is to use bleach. Chlorine bleach is a very effective product that can kill molds as well as remove tough stains. In order to use bleach effectively, mix one part bleach with one part water. Apply the bleach to the roof and allow it to sit on it for a few minutes. The bleach will loosen up the dirt and stains to allow easily rinsing afterward.

Why even rinse the cleaning solution? We haven't rinsed yet and we are happy to report cleaner look roofs that stay clean longer.

Absolutely, and we have roof cleaning training classes in tampa quite often, for those wanting to learn the roof cleaning business.
Nothing quite like supervised on the job training, for those wanting to learn.

Bleach.. Coverage.. Packaging.. How long for results..
Make sure you know what to look for when buying roof cleaning chemicals. 'Roof Cleaner Forever' gives a complete roof cleaning system all in a single box.
