Default Sodium Hypoclorite safety

In using 12% solution what do you use for personal safety?

I have been looking at a lot of sites and can not find good guidelines, lots of referances to what it does. Main concern is what spec is needed on the mask to wear other than charcol and good face shield and safety glass's.

For the guys that use this all the time what do you recommend for personal safety?

Any mask with filters rated for chlorine gas. Granger has them available.

Thanks. The part that was confusing was I could not find it in the Niosh pocket guide. Chemistry was not my strong point. It looks to me like the concentration being handled affects the precautions. I am getting the mask and also will be using disposable coveralls, full face shield when pouring 12%, safety glasses the rest of the time when diluted. Any other safe practices recommended? As I research some of the effects such as tissue necrosis is pretty interesting. Thanks for the responce

Mine is no better than yours just hanging on to not shaving the sides.
I am adding a mask that filters organics and will go with that found a supplier that will sell case loads of the overalls cheap and will try and not mess up some much of my pants. Interested to see if it works
