Default Cleaning apartments and move in/outs cleaning

I have an opportunity to start cleaning apartments. What do I charge? Do I charge by the hour or by the apartment? How should I write up a bid sheet? Also I want to know what is the best way to charge for move in/out cleaning.

Depends on work how to charge and when you preparing bid sheet give full description why and what you charging with detailed explanation.

we just simple work out how long we expect it to take for move in/out cleans and hope we get it right. if it's your first i'd say just accept you may work for peanuts the first time, but you'll be paid with experience i find it takes at least 3 times the amount of time it would for a normal clean

as for what to do, simply do everything unless they say otherwise.

Default How to charge for cleaning work

Hi
When you are new to the cleaning business whether you charge by the hour or not find out what the rates are. Ring up some other businesses in the area. And it is ok to undercut a bit, just to get those first jobs.
After you have been working in it for a while, you will have an idea how long each job will take, so you might find it is best to charge by the job, which you quote at the beginning (not by the hour). This is because charging by the hour doesn't do you or the customer much service. You want to give them a quality clean, and that is what your reputation is going to be based on.
Good luck
