Default Foreclosure Cleaning

The best way to get started is to contact asset management companies. They handle most of the foreclosed properties. Check out this blog for more info www.foreclosuresdirect.blogspot.com

LOL just wish I was the ex-homeowners lawyer!
Best advise you can get to start in the P&P field is:
1) contact your lawyer and have them guide you in properly licensing your business and getting the proper insurance.
2) Put that lawyer on retainer
3) Find a company that is already in the business with a minimum of 4-5 year experience and try to sub-contract with them to learn this business.

Educate yourself to all the laws that apply to the foreclosure business. It appears that the business will start a moratorium nationwide beginning in April for 6 months..that is the word going aroung currently.

Thumbs up Getting Leads/Jobs Foreclosure Cleaning

You will need to register your business with all the banks/reo asset management companies. Once registered you will be placed on their approved vendors list and when the homes foreclose on they assign work based on the zip codes you work. There is a good foreclosure bank reo contact list with over 1200 bank reo contacts and reo asset manager contacts that I would recommend getting, then sign up with them all, here is the website: http://listbankrepos.com/Reo-Asset-Managers-List.aspx

We belong to the Foreclosure Cleanup Network, it's the number 1 social network for the foreclosure cleanup industry and it's free, I would recommend joining plus you can network with reo agents on there to get additional work.

Finallly, this is a must-have for any new business, join the Property Preservation Directory by Instant Home Link, http://www.propertypreservationdirectory.com This is the top directory the banks/reo asset management companies use to locate and find new foreclosure cleaning/property preservation businesses.
Good luck!

That's a great business to start! I'm sure you could network from other cleaning companies and ask if they've ever done foreclosed homes.
