Default Post construction bidding

Hi there, I have been enjoying this site, thanks to everyone for sharing knowledge.
I have a question re construction clean up. I guess it is usually done in 3 phases. When you bid on the job per square feet, say .20 cents is it for all three clean ups or for one? I am hoping it would be say .20 cents for one clean and a total of .60 cents for all 3.

Also does anyone have any tips how to put bids in w/ builders. So far my calls are being totally blown off to get on their vendor lists.

THX!!

Nope. Sorry it doesn't work that way, although I am sure that everyone wished that it did. Normally the .20 would be divided between the rought and the final clean (.08 and .12 for example) then you can charge extra for any touch up cleanings.

In regards to getting on lists, I recommend that you try to get your name on file as a "reserve" cleaner. This way you can be called in if they are running short on time getting their production ready and they can at least see your work, plus you will earn points for getting them out of a bind.

PS - don't call, send them a packet of information that can be kept on file
