How much to charge for commercial cleaning?
I have been in the cleaning business for the past 4 months mainly doing residential cleanings. Just received my 1st call to do a 2 story commercial building with about 30 offices, a main lobby, big conference room, video meeting room, mail room, kitchen area, 4 bathrooms in total (couple stalls and sinks in each one), lobby area. They want me to do 2 times a week a basic cleaning, once a month a more detail cleaning involving windows, blinds, polishing, clean and sanitize all phone sets.
If I have 2 people doing this what should I charge. For residential cleaning I do 2 people at $35 an hour which helps pay for salaries, taxes, insurance, gas and company can make a profit. I have good customer flow with those prices for residential even though some people always want cheap labor from people who get away with not be licensed or insured so they can charge much lower rates. Should I do the same $35 an hour for 2 people cleaning? Thanks for the advice
