After carpet cleaning

After your carpets have been cleaned, follow these suggestions:

* set up fans to blow across the carpets
* be sure you have windows open or you’ve turned on your heat or air conditioner
* do not move any furniture back onto the carpet until it is completely dry
* do not walk on the carpet with dirty shoes or feet. It is a good idea to wash the bottoms of any indoor shoes that you are going to walk on the carpet with.
* do not put towels, newspapers, sheets etc. on the carpet
* after the carpet is completely dry, vacuum.

All great suggestions by a window washer! Nice to see another perfectionist on this board with great ideas. I run carpet cleaning Los Angeles and also recommend these tips to our clientele.

Suggestions provided by you really appreciable and useful. I know it is very tough task to clean a carpet and we don’t want to see any dust or spot on this at least for some time. We need to keep some safety and precautions after cleaning your carpet.

I think you mean groom the carpet fibers for a softer feel once dry as well as standing the pile to aid in drying faster. This is one of the many measures my company carpet cleaning Tampa performs after the cleaning.

Once your carpet is cleaned, you should regularly vacuum your carpet weekly for improving indoor air quality. Another thing which I would like to share is that when I finish the cleaning with a carpet rake. This after carpet cleaning care fluffs up the fibers and removes the marks left by the cleaners wand or pad machine.

Sure. Pick the most used traffic area in your business, home, etc. Consider the traffic lane 3 feet wide. Vacuum one side of the lane everyday, vaccum the other side once a month. After 6 months professionally clean both sides. Take a white towel and place it over extraction tool and go over everyday side and look at the towel, take another white towel and do the same with the once a month side. Then compare the two side by side. In heavy traffic areas, you will also notice the daily side of the carpet will seem much newer and in better condition than the once per month side.

Vacuuming is not the same as cleaning the carpets with a powerful hot water extraction machine...we all know that the dirt goes to the base of the carpet and a vacuum won,t get it all out...once a 12 months is good to have carpet cleaned for healthy and fresh carpets...

The more you live the carpets to soil the harder to get them a good look...regular cleaning-once a 12 months- will keep them in good shape for long time.

Another great product offered by professional carpet cleaning companies is Scotchgard. For a long-term solution to help keep their fabrics looking better longer the stain repellent is for fabric and carpet protection. To keep stains off and carpets and upholstery looking like new you should invest in Scotchgard.
