Bleached Carpet Help

I recently took on a new client and when we were taking an initial tour of her home she pointed out that the previous cleaning service she had damaged her carpets. The carpets are a dark brown and it looks like a trail of orange splatter from a bucket of what Im assuming was a mixture of bleach.

If you have any tips to help that would be great.

The Client is looking to have all the carpets removed now, as this spreads from the top of the stair case all the way down the hall and into the master bedroom.

Thanks in advance

There is an organization that offers a color correction course. You can find out more information at there website iicrc.org

The classes are usually two days long with a "hands on" learning experience. You can take an optional exam following the course if you want to have a certification. The class cost around $300 and the exam is $30.

Also there are many videos for fixing bleach stains on youtube that you can study as well.

Dark brown carpet..... normally bleach would discolor the carpet on the yellow side, removing the blue and red. If the stain looks on the orange side it would indicate products like bensil peroxide....or facial medicine for acne. If your customer had hanging plants in the house, some types of plant food spilled on the carpet will show up after a cleaning of the carpets. There are many things to know about discoloration of carpets and as the person before me said... it would really help to to take a class on how to fix carpets that have a color loss.

Call the installation company who installed your floor and ask if they can come out and patch the bad area.

Bleach is definitely hard to correct in a darker colored carpet - Keep us posted!

I was even having similar condition carpet. However, went to carpet repair Denver (ecocleancares.com) professionals and they got my carpet repaired in pretty decent price.

Bleach stains are impossible to remove, because bleach removes color from the affected area. It can be recovered only by color creation.

Bleach stains can't be removed because the bleach stripped the original color out.
