Consistent upkeep and periodic professional cleaning will keep your carpet beautiful, inviting and durable for years to come.
Don’t vacuum over loose yarn or try to pull out the snag. Looped carpets can snag, especially at a seam or a carpet transition.
Don’t let stains sit. Treat stains as soon as possible. The longer you wait the more the stain will soak into the fibers.
Don’t rub or scrub the area with a rag, this damages the fibers and may create a permanent scar.
Don’t try to clean your carpets alone. Cleaning by a reputable, professional cleaner is suggested approximately once a year to protect your investment.

You have came back home after a long day of work and all you want to do is watch a bit of television and sleep. While watching a bit of television, you notice layers of dust lying on the table and the chairs.
You are too tired to get up and clean. You tell yourself you will clean tomorrow but you will not have the time. You need someone to come home and clean. The only cleaners that come to mind are the Residential cleaning services.

Homes will have dirt and dust coming in from outside. Furthermore, people who have pets and small children at home will definitely have a lot more dirt.

Carpet cleaning mistakes to be avoided apart from the ones listed above:

> Do not scrub excessively. This would spoil the carpet very soon

> Using deodorizing powders may smell great, but use them only when your carpet smells bad. Adding this on a regular cleaning regime will bring down the carpet's quality

> Over usage of chemicals should be avoided

> Not using the right cleaning equipment will also cause damage to the carpet

> Cleaning your carpet once a week does not mean you are keeping it clean, you are over-doing it. If there is some dirt, just remove that and finish it off. If you start cleaning the whole carpet for that small stain, the carpet will be worn out soon

excellent tips! Thanks for sharing.. I am actually getting into the professional cleaning Industry with a new company and the tips and recommendations from professionals already in the industry is of great help.

from what I know, the key things to avoid are:
- excessive scrubbing to spoil the material or carpet fabric
- not acting quickly on spills
- and not over using chemicals..

cheers

You have provided some great tips here. Like you have mentioned, it is very important to hire some professional cleaning service once in a while to clean the carpets because there's always a limit in which we can clean the carpets and eliminate the bacteria and dust particles inside them. When we clean, the carpets may look clean, but the bacteria and dust particles will be definitely there in it.

Avoid too much use of carpet shampoo when cleaning. Use only the right amount of detergent or shampoo.

  • The easiest way to ruin your carpet is to not clean up spills properly.
  • Never use a wet vacuum cleaner or a steam machine to pull the stain from the carpet.

Professional carpet cleaning

I would always recommend to get a professional carpet cleaning, maybe even once a year even if there is no obvious dirt just to refresh it and keep it solid.
Stains can be removed DIY but every now and then the carpets deserve professional care.

Thanks to you for appreciate my theory. It is true that our company has provided the water extraction method for cleaning the carpet easily. It has the ability to flush out larger amounts of soil and contaminants of the carpet. This method will clean, rise and extract dirt and unhealthy contaminants that lies deep within your carpet.

A little known fact

A little known fact is that dirt going into the carpet acts like a piece of glass as it has sharp edges and cuts the pile, thus causing your carpets to look thread bare. By regular deep cleaning you get these deep down particles and remove them (that a normal vacum does not) thus giving your carpets a longer life.
