How Much Money To Buy A Truck & All Supplies?
 

So what costs are involved in buying a carpet cleaning van and a super high quality machine to go with it? Plus initial supplies and shampoos, etc.?

Basically I'd like to set a goal to add carpet cleaning to my business in the future, and I'd like to write down how much money I should save up to get started :thumb up:

You will easily find a carpet cleaning van in range of $25k to $50k, in initial start-up and your high quality carpet machine with other cleaning supplies will hardly cost $1.5k to $2k.

Yea I figured that would be the cost, but it should be worth it.

My Father bought a carpet cleaning business back in 1995 in a small North Carolina Beach town for a total cost of $35,000 which included the truck and all customer base.

It only netted around $35k a year, but within a few years and additional services, he brought it to around $250k a year and had employees doing all of the grunt work.

He got a good deal on $35k!
