Mix warm vinegad and salt. Cover the affect area, leave for 5-10 minutes then scrub and wash out with lukewarm water.

I think that your problem can't be done by cleaning. It looks me like you have to buy a new carpet

Just buy new carpet. Why spending so much money on cleaning supplies when you can just take more beautiful carpet and make your home looking better .

Hello,

To get rid of this problem, Rub a freshly cut lemon onto the stain, and scrub with a soft bristled brush.Treat the stain with Shout stain treatment according to the instructions on the bottle of Shout. Remove from washer and check the fabric; if a stain is still present, repeat, rub again with lemon. This is the simple and good way of removing iron stain.

Thanks,

You can attach spare carpet parts that match in colour. Or just do a patchwork

I think the best treat for that is solution of warm vinegar(distilled white)with salt. Heat it until it lukewarm and mix well, then apply on the affected area.

I like the idea about patchwork. It seems pretty interesting.
