Anyone remember the protectors by DuPont for the stain resistant carpets?
I think I may have just dated myself here.
What color was the protector in the jug and what did they smell like?

Anyone?

I was just cutting my teeth in the carpet cleaning business, when this was happening. I remember the introduction of cleaning products, approved for stain resistant carpets. I remember those products not doing such a good job. Most people that we cleaned for had already voided their warranties, long before we got there. I remember my old boss carrying the two different protectors. They were still on the shelf, many years later. I guess the NR had a different pH that would void the stain resistant warranty.

Most manufacturers started to make most of their cleaning products stain master approved.

The product smelled like apples.....Very good and yes the product was discontinued and our little card certifying us is not longer valid. Good thing the carpets are much better in the quality.
