Tanning Help

Im new to carpet cleaning. Took the IIRC course a couple weeks ago and already have my first problem. I used standard right off the shelf "natures miracle" on a customers carpet. It is the same stuff the costumer uses themselves as they showed me the bottle. After using it on multiple areas some being very large I extracted extra with a water claw and left. Costumer called next day said everywhere I treated was now brown. Came back rinsed all area and the stains were gone. I guess as they dried the stains returned. I went back today and treated with a low PH tanning treat ment and looks good for now hope it will hold.

Any idea why this happend to me, when the costumer used the same chemical on the SAME carpet frequently?

Any ideas if it comes back besides calling my insurance company and buying new carpet?
