To get the ball rolling in my favorite forum of this board I thought I'd post a picture of travertine floor I cleaned.

Used an alkaline cleaner, (don't wanna use acids on natural stone) let dwell, scrubbed and then power rinsed with a pressure washing extraction tool.

and there you go

Wow, very nice.

First, that is a GREAT domain name. Make sure you hold on to it and promote it like crazy. I would use it like a 1-800 number.

Also, do you use this picture in any of your advertisements or maybe in a Valpak mailing? I would use it if I were you... I bet it would bring in more than a few leads.

Tile is so huge in Florida.

Yeah, I like the domain name. I actually just like the name of my company: The Grout Experts

I like to promote myself as the specialist in that area. That way there is not question on exactly what we do.

Right now i'm not using any picture based advertising as I'm advertising to tile contractors and lots of small business card sized ads in small local papers.

Keeps us busy - as you know, tile is big here and the company and field is pretty specialized.

But I am using pictures in what I call my "brag book" - a bunch of my jobs like this and also send this out to tile contractors and tile stores so people can refer me business.

Wow...Nice. What exactly do you use to clean Travertine. I don't do the tile & grout thing but I helped a friend put down a Travertine floor once. When we started I thought: wow, this is easy, I wanna start a tile biz. By the time we finished four days later I wanted to sell the biz that I hadn't even started yet.
