Going rate for grout cleaning

A new client has tile in two new houses that had dust in the grout.

What is the going rate to clean grout?

Thanks!

pricing...

Pricing is largely based on two factors. What your market will allow and the condition of your floor. What I find is it ranges from $.70 on up to a couple of bucks. This is only for cleaning and does not include any sealing. You can always get more if you package your services. Like put together at least three pricing packages.

hope this helps.

75 cents seems to be the average rate but like anything else there are low ballers. I have seen it advertised for as low as 40 cents a foot but that is way too cheap in my opinion. I charge 75 and average about 120 an hour on tile cleaning.

Thank you for the responses. I am consistently getting this business with no advertisement that we do it. So, I am in the process of formalizing our service offering for tile and grout cleanin.

I have a good product for 'cleaning' the tile and grout, but I am looking for recommendations for equipment.

Thanks again!

Wil if you are serious about tile and grout cleaning, you need a good truck mounted system that will clean about 1000 sf per hour. If you are not serious, you can do it with a mop and bucket, just not as well.

How do you do it now?

This is just a guess but I bet that grout has been replaced since the original post 7 years ago. But thanks for spamming!
