Spreading Sanded Caulk

Many of you guys probably already know this but I wanted to share a tip that will help you get a finer bead of sanded caulk when doing shower restoration or the like.

What I do is dampen a terry cloth rag, and use it to keep a clean and damp finger. Also keep a dry cloth with me to periodically wipe my finger to keep it clean. Spreading with a damp finger on sanded caulk gives a much better bead, just remember to not over wet your finger.
