Dirt is abrasive to tile, so it is necessary to clean it regularly. Routine mopping and vacuuming will easily prevent surface scratching. Deeper cleaning can be accomplished with the help of a damp mop and a good tile floor cleaning solution. Some cleaners that have ammonia or bleach aren’t recommended, so you should find a cleaning solution recommended by the manufacturer. On a daily basis, it is prudent to deal with sudden spills by wiping them up properly.

Hi,
Cleaning grout is one of those tasks that’s so unbearable, it’s almost worth it to just let it go. Tile and grout cleaning is one of those many things which we keep forgetting to clean on daily basis. Spray vinegar and ammonia solution over the grout so it is dampened. Allow the mixture to set for 3-5 minutes to work into the grout, and then scrub it off.

Hope this helps!

Tile floors are extremely common here in Florida. It is important to use only "safe" cleaning products on them - nothing harsh. The system I use is this:
I use a Swiffer mop, the kind you can put wet or dry pads on (which they sell and are VERY expensive!). Instead of their pads, I use ordinary white washcloths, which hook right onto the mop head. I dampen the washcloth and spray on a cleaning agent. I mop a smallish area, and when the washcloth is still white, it's clean! Many of my clients LOVE this system, because it shows how much I care about cleaning their floors.
Personally, I think that using a traditional type mop is a huge waste of time, because you are just swishing dirty water around on the floor.
Steam mops are great - especially if the floor is highly soiled. But with ordinary cleaning jobs, my system works great.

I just read your forum; very caring post you have given here! Tips in this post are nice and quite useful. By regular cleaning, you can extend the lifespan of your floor. I also have some couple of secrets on this topic. Among all natural cleaners, vinegar is a healthy cleaning alternative to products with scary ingredients and it’s cheap and safe for both the environment. Use a spray bottle filled with vinegar to apply it over the baking soda. Although, you can do it yourself, but if hire professional cleaner, you will get more nice output as professionals are able to get up most stains that you can't remove yourself.
