Question Getting back into New Construction Clean-Up

I have been away from the clean up business for at least eight years. Just looking for any info. on the going bid prices per sq. ft and bidding windows. When I left I was charging 13cents a sq. ft. and eight dollars a window. I live in MIssouri and any info anyone could supply would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back to the industry, Renata!

I don't have any answers for you but I just wanted to say hi. Maybe some of the NCC people can chime in and let you know if business is even booming in this economy. There have been more foreclosures than new may want to consider diversifying. Who knows!

I am in Orlando, Florida and trying to determine what the 2009 average rate per SF for post construction cleaning is for:

Phase II Prep Clean (excluding windows)
Phase III Punch/Final Clean (exculding windows)

I want to provide a bid that consists of these 2 phases as separate costs because the contractor will be signing off on each phase as it is completed.

Can anyone provide me with their experience as to the going rate? It seems to be all over the place. Thanks!

We submit one bid for cleaning how ever the builder wants it typically const-finnal-touchup. Then we submit payment for each clean. But we dont submit 3 different bids gets confusing.
