New to Construction Cleaning

Hi!

I wanted some advice on what to charge for post construction cleaning for new residential homes...

I've been running a cleaning company for 7 years in the residential move in/out cleaning. So we mainly clean move outs for apartment complexes. We charge by the number of bedrooms and baths.

Now, we're thinking of moving into post construction cleaning since it may be a little easier but are having trouble on what to charge. We're in the Seattle area and most of our clients will be in the Seattle area. We were thinking of charging per sq ft but do not know the average around this area.

Any help would be great! :)

Not sure on prices for you, but I would recommend subbing out the windows unless you have a good amount of experience with them. I've had plenty of jobs where whoever did the construction clean-up on the windows has used razors to remove glue or something, and ended up scratching the windows, which is of course an expensive error to make.

I'm just starting out as well.

new construction clean-up

Hi! I'm in Michigan, and I also own/operate a cleaning company. We focus mainly on residential properties, but want to branch out into commercial. From what I have read, final clean up for new construction ranges from .15 to .25 sq ft
I'm not sure if that is an appropriate rate? We received a request for new construction at a 30,000 sq ft building and I'm curious to know what would be an appropriate price? We are insured and have employees, we provide all supplies/equipment. Any advice??
