This is a rather strange question. Both of these pets have their own advantages.

Your question cannot be answered unambiguously. As often happens, want to have a pet at home, but there is a lot of doubt right there. For example, with a lot of work at work or in a small apartment, it will be possible to understand that a pet is not comfortable living according to your rules, only when you bring him into the house. But after that it will be too late to change the decision. Therefore, firstly, proceed from this. For example, I have two cats. Breed ocicat They have a very original appearance, which in their color is very reminiscent of wild mammals of ocelots. By the way, cats of this breed are very attached to the owners, devoted to the family, and also are friendly to children and other pets, not trying to dominate the neighboring cat breeds.

This IS a weird question! In my opinion, everyone knows which they prefer. For me, it will always be a cat. And telling people "a dog would be easier" is WAY wrong and inaccurate. Dogs have to be walked to go to the bathroom. Cats just need a clean kitty litter box.
People who think cats are standoffish are way wrong as well. My cat is my best friend. He will always be near me, if he is awake. I keep him inside for his safety and that does not bother him at all. He is extremely affectionate, and loving. The things I dislike about dogs include how they smell (yuck! Wet dog smell!) and how gross their behavior can be. But it all depends on how YOU see these things.

I say dog, but that's for me and maybe just because that is what I grew up with.

Cat or dog? Hm, good question. I think both animals have its advantages, so it's up to you to attract more. Personally, I was lucky enough to find the best teacup puppies - Maltipoo. I can't imagine my life without my dog. This feeling of positive energy coming from him cannot be replaced by anything in the world. In the morning he comes to my bed and flatters himself so nicely. Then when he feels sad during the day, he jumps into his arms and lifts his mood. And when I come home, you have no idea how happy I am, as if we haven't seen each other in a long time. Finally, having a pet is a great idea. Listen to what your heart says, and you will decide if it is better for you to have a cat or a dog.
