Thanks!

I just got the final version since the current one is a mock up. It should like a little cleaner once that is posted.

Thanks... and welcome to the new site.

I still think the green is a bit strong but what do I know?

I think it is a bit strong myself too.

What about the green font in the logo, "Talk?"

Is that too green and not bright enough for what you are going for?

Maybe the green from the buttons that are in the posts? A little less lime but not as dark?

I'll try that later on tonight. I think it will take the edge off a bit.

It reminds me of a cross between a Mr. Clean and a Windex bottle...Nice.

I like it.

My wife and I were talking about it today. If there were ever a logo and color scheme that conveys 'clean', that is it.

That will come. We also made up stickers on contractortalk.com and they are very popular. I think a nice green t-shirt would be nice though.

Of course we just started this site on Wednesday so I guess we should make sure we have enough interest first Of course if this traffic keeps up I'm going to need to buy a second dedicated server

Yep, that's kinda what I meant to say.

If you can come up with a logo that is good enough to remind someone of a nationally recognized logo without actually copying it, you're doing very good! Those companies paid LOTS of money to develop those logos.
