ContractorTalk.com Status

I'm posting this over here just in case anyone from contractortalk.com checks.

ContractorTalk.com has been down for several hours because of a backbone routing issue. This network problem is causing most traffic to not get through.

We are working with our host and hope to be back online soon.
We will be sending an email to the members of ContractorTalk.com as soon as we get back up.

Thanks.

Contractors crying like babies.

DIYChatroom.com is also very slow for some reason. Not sure if that is related or not?

No, ContractorTalk.com is using a dedicated IP address because it is so large. That IP Block (sorry for the geek term) is what the backbone provider is having problems with.

They are working on an work around right now. I guess the work around could involve some downtime for us but I'm not sure yet.

I'll keep everyone updated.

Don, can you get to the site? Our servers are in Tampa so I was just wondering...

Nope! Looks like it's down across the board (no pun intended).

ContractorTalk.com can now be reached by and should be back online within an hour as normal.

Is the site slow for anyone else? Or how about www.DIYChatroom.com?

Was anybody else here affected during this time period?
Charter Digital cable was out in all of Louisiana while this was going on.

I'm not sure really... it was a strange problem that only effected some IP addresses. That is why this site was ok and contractortalk.com was not.
