How to be peaceful in tension and emotional moments?

Friends, in general youngsters have boiling blood. Emotions sometimes exceeds the limits. If we control our emotions such as anger, too much happiness, too much sadness or depression we can achieve best results in our life.
So what is your successful way to overcome emotional situations?

In my view before going to do anything just think once weather it is right or wrong. If you can think so you lead a successful life by controlling your emotions.

I'm still trying to work on this, but what I feel is most effective is allowing yourself to feel your emotions, view them as an outside observer, and understand why you feel the way you do. Attempting to get an outsider's look on your own problems can be a very eye opening experience

I am just relaxed in general. I guess just focus on staying calm and it should work.
Usually panicking will do more bad than good.

I agree with your response. One should face the challenges, problems and reach their goal. One should feel the self responsibility rather than let others to involve in their personal life.
