This problem happens to me and one in about every five jobs. I soap up, scrape if necessary, squeegee the window, and then wipe the edges with a terry cloth. Oftentimes I have a second cloth to wipe up after my first wet wipe. I use a kind of buffing motion to ensure there's no smears. But like I said and one in about every five the Edge's do smear. Or leave hairline streaks that almost look like scratches. Then the harder I try to rub they get worse. Does someone have another method.
