Got Egged

Can someone suggest how to remove egg from windows & screens? Kids in the neiborhood egged the building a few months ago, now the weather is good enough to work outside & I am hoping that the egg is baked enough to just flake off. I haven't had the chance to get a look from inside the apartments since they are 3 stories up.

Egg is nasty. Keep in mind they are living creatures forming in those bad boys. On the windows, razor it and clean the screens really well. If I was you I honestly would not bother with the screens because the eggs stain may have done the damage already and cleaning them can take some time. I would try to clean one or two but there may be a noticeable difference from where the egg was on the screen. It's cheaper just to have them re-screened. A local hardware store has the stuff to do it and it's very easy. Or you can pay them to do it. It should be no more then $3 to $5 per screen. I make from $50 to $100 per hour and for me having them re-screened is just financially sound. If you had 10 screens it should cost no more then $30 to $50 and you don’t have to deal with the hours of cleaning headache you may run into or just doing it yourself can also take some time if you never done it before. If you are dead set in cleaning them yourself, you can look at http://www.winsol.com/screen-cleaner.html#scrn-clnr

It’s a pretty good product but I honestly can’t say it will work for your issue as I never had to remove egg from screens here.

Thanks, The egg looks to be dry enough to flake off, but the screens I will take to the local hardware to do.
