Ive always just stuck with a pair of nitrile dipped gloves, a couple of 5 gallon pails, some rope to raise and lower them and a garden hose to flush. Also a rag in the back pocket to wipe down as needed. Keep it simple and avoid making a mess with a blower.

Hi kerry,
As a professional cleaner, I would say it depends on the gutters and the site of your home. Regular maintenance keeps your gutters functioning properly and can prevent water damage and keep your home looking nice. Cleaning your gutters at least twice a yearĖ once in the late spring and once in the late summer/early fall. Keep updating.

We only clean debris from 1-2 stories. It must be walkable so we can clean them all with leaf blowers. If not, we donít do it. But itís great to clean a 2 story in 30min and make $200.

- Use a safe and secure ladder.
- Rake leaves and other debris off the rooftop first.
- Wear rubber-soled shoes when walking on the rooftop.
- Use a plastic gutter scooping tool.
- Wear gloves and proper eyewear.
