Any recommendations for books on being an effective boss

I'd like to hear of any books or resources that you have used to become a more effective boss.

EntreLeadership, Start and Quitter. They are all at Daveramsey.com

Start and Quitter isn't so much about being a boss but it will let you realize how some employees feel.

I have read so many books on management - but the end all was hiring an employee! That was a big step for me but I learned so much through it that no book could ever teach. Buy I'm glad that I had some what of an idea of what I was getting myself into. proir to the higher

1st two books anyone should read: Entreleadership and The E-myth: Revisited. If a business person only read those books and followed them they would be successful in any business. Then look into Good to Great, Linchpin, Who Moved My Cheese and The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. From there read everything by Seth Godin, John C. Maxwell, Zig Ziggler, and Dale Carnegie. That out to keep you busy this week!
