Dress attire for prospective clients?

What is appropriate dress attire for a woman going out to speak to prospective clients? Especially if i am the one who will be cleaning their building. I was thinking casual dress pants and a nice blouse or just jeans and a nice shirt and comfortable shoes.

Always dress in nice slacks and button up shirt. Professional look = professional job in most people's eyes!

Thanks for the advice, I just didn't want to overdress when looking for clients.

LH,

I agree with Maid to Shine, always choose the slacks over the jeans. It makes a much more polished and professional impression.
