employee reservice

What do you do when a customer calls back and is unhappy with the work. Besides the obvious to go back and fix the situation, how do you go about paying/not paying your employee that now has to go back to fix what they should have done right the first time?

Where I live, you have to pay the employee the same to fix the job as to do the job in the first place; unauthorized deductions are illegal. Let me jus say this is a FANTASTIC incentive to make sure you hire good people and you train them well. If you find your customers are constantly calling your staff back to fix something then your staff is not good, they are not trained, or you are not supplying them with what they need to get the job done. All of these are really management issues.
