Hello all. First time post. I'm starting an office cleaning company. I've researched ways to market the company. I see that a lot of people like the flyers or door hangars on business doors. I'm really interested in trying this strategy but I do have some concerns. I see a lot of no solicitor signs on the business windows. Do you still leave your business info? Just curious. I don't want my new business looking bad with other businesses. Any help. Thank you!

I detest flyers and when I get one, on my door or card, I trash them immediately. To my mind, someone using a flyer is just tell m,e they are not a very good company.

I keep business cards in my purse all the time. I also use magnetic door signs. I strike up conversations with people I meet, in stores, doctors offices, etc. I had out those cards. Most of my work I find online. And because over 3 years I have built up a solid and very good reputation, I dont actually NEED to find new customers often. I believe that earning yourself a great reputation - and you do that by going the extra mile for customers - is your best way to build a cleaning business.

Flyers are not a good strategy in our age. They were popular in the 80's and 90's, but now you should stick to business cards, promotional items like pens, hats, shirts, stickers, etc. Arranging this often needs a bigger budget.
