Placing a bid for a small hotel

Hi everyone! I thank anyone who reads my question and gives any advice.
I have a cleaning company and have been in business since 2005, we specialize in vacation homes and villa cleaning. I have a great opportunity to get a contract doing hotel rooms, problem is I need to place a bid. I've only done so for homes and villas, this is a small very nice resort style hotel with about 80 rooms. We need to provide laundry service as well as housekeepers. What is a good figure for a bid on hotel cleaning? Thank you!

Hi Jackie with any big commercial you have to figure out how many hours it would take and what your desired hourly rate is after expenses (chemicals, employees etc).

Hello friend,
Congrats for getting contract! I work with Commercial cleaning company with over 25 years. We offer incredible cleaning services in and around Southern California, like office cleaning, floor care, carpet care, window care ,post construction clean up and green cleaning .As far as your question is concerned, in my opinion you should call other cleaning services in your area and ask what their rate is for a cleaning job. You can charge more for your cleaning service in an area with a relatively high median income. It all depends on how much work you will be doing and for how many hours you will be working in a day.keep sharing.

Hello, I'm interested in how we can get such a contract. We have a small cleaning company and we only receive small orders from working women. And I would like to get clients like the owners of Westgate hotels in Orlando. I think if we ever get a client like that, our business will go up. I've been following these hotels for a long time, they're great. I like how everything is arranged there and the staff works like clockwork. But I think that such hotels don't cooperate with third-party companies and they most likely have their own staff. But I still want to believe that one day we will get such a client. In the meantime, we need to develop and learn what it takes to make it happen.

Number one other cleaning companies are not going to tell you how much they would charge! Even though we share on this forum there are companies that we also compete with. We have to have some knowledge and experience to work from and then we can create a quote. Now its nice if you have a list of reminders of what to include and most of all what not to forget as well as being careful how and where you include various items.Wording is key here.Learning how to price things out is how you will or will not survive in any business.
