Quick Question

Does anyone use Constant Contact for email marketing? Does anyone use thumbtack.com or something close to it? Is this worth the time and money?

I'd say your advertising dollars could probably be better spent elsewhere...IMHO

I know a cleaning company that use thumbtack and they like it alot. I use iContact and it works well. ConstantContact is very similar and either one does a good job.

We are using social media and website promotion using organic methods only, email marketing is also a better way but the thing is now a days many are simply deleting the mail without seeing at least.

I worked for a company that used Constant Contact; if your individual sales are in four figures, it's probably worth it, but if they're not, then it's just not really worth it in my opinion. I just couldn't get into it; whoever designed it does not think like me. I'm not sure how pricey it is, but there are lots of other solutions, some even free.

I suggest you the Asian Countries for your work because they are less expensive then your local service provider. You can find some freelancer.

One of the best programs for email marketing is Mail Chimp. Why? Because it's free (within certain limits) and fairly flexible.

Of course, a website is a great starting point along with a facebook page. Using these mechanisms together you can build a marketing list.
