When I read stories like that I really don't know if I should laugh or cry They were cleaning State buildings!! why? Because most likely the state wanted a low ball bid which could not or would not pay enough to cover paying wages legally

Hopefully they will put the low-balling company out of business and send a message to anyone else that wants to hire the cheapest labor. I'd be willing to say that a competitor, that bid on that gig and is going hungry losing bids to these POS low-ballers, turned them in.

Oddly enough, any competitor who was turned down, now has the legal right to sue the state....and should.

(see under my feet for soap box)..this kinda crap truly burns my arse. Trying to be legit and stay on top of my game while competing with loosers who ignor the law...coupled with the STATE not delving deep enough into the very folks who are doing and providing the work....I hope the stae goes out of business too. who is going to fine the State for hiring these people?...okay...slowly getting off soapbox now...I need a drink.
