Funny that I came on here just now and saw the post since as the page was loading, I was at my kitchen table getting the last of my cards and addresses organized.
I send a simple, hand-written card to each client. My cards are generic. One is just a winter snow scene & the other just says Thank You on the front. Both are blank on the inside and my notes are tailored to each client.
They are basically New Year cards that let them know I appreciate them/their business and any gifts they have given me...money, cookies, gift cards, etc. Each one has a personal tone to it that mentions what their business has meant to me as well as their generosity & the best to them and their families for the coming year.
Sheeze, I have them CALLING ME to say thank you for the cards
It means a lot to them and it does a bunch for customer relations. Plus, they took the time to think of me and do something extra so I feel that a hearty thanks is in order.
25 clients is not an unmanageable number to send out. My list consisted of about 30 and included those who have only given me referrals (realtors & builders) and some whom I have only cleaned for occasionally. I'm a solo cleaner and don't have a huge list of clients but plan on doing this even if my business expands.
Hope this helps!
