Can Bandz

Anyone use Can Bandz? My garbage bags keep falling into the cans and keeping them up with large rubber bands seems the best thing to do.

Are you just sitting the bags in the can or are you tieing it over at the side? Back when I was a kid and my uncle used to clean the courthouse he would make me tie that little knot thing and back then it took me forever to get the hang of it.

I put them in the can then rip one of the ends and make a knot but it looks really ugly. The bags I have don't have handles to tie.

Most bags don't have handles to tie. I'm not sure why you rip one of the ends... probably why it doesn't stay up. Just take the bag (whole bag... no ripping) use both hands and tie a sort of bow... except you will not get the 'bow' part of it... just the loop around. Really hard to explain with no pictures. Act like you're tieing your shoe... except you won't get the pretty bow.

As for being 'ugly'... I've never heard of a cleaner getting fired because they tied the trash bag and it looked ugly.

If the office you are cleaning chooses to buy high priced bags that have ties on them, they could have pretty trash cans. But I'm sure they could care less.

I never tie the bags on the can I push. I use a maid caddy on one side and hang my spray bottles on the other to hold the bag up. Faster that way.

Hi Sprint how ya been?

I didn't realize the can to push might have been the topic.

Hey Jeff. I've been better than I deserve! I've been so busy (fun stuff, not work) this year I don't think I'll get a chance to make it to Eagle Raceway... which is a shame. How's things in my favorite state of Nebraska?

Good to hear, it has been HOT here. And now that I read the question again, I think you are right. He is talking about regular trash cans. Which I always tie up and tuck the tail under to hide it.
